Alkem Company and Alkem Distribution Center is one of the largest independent book and educational materials distribution company in South East Asia. They work with established partners and booksellers in Singapore and have been accredited as one of the leading companies in Singapore.

Just a glimpse of its signature navy blue coloured carrier bag and any book lover will know someone went book buying at Books Kinokuniya. Starting with their first branch at Liang Court Shopping Centre in December 1983, Books Kinokuniya has grown and expanded since then. Their flagship store provides various titles from all over the world including English, Japanese, Chinese, French and German publications.

BOOKTIQUE
Booktique - Where Writers Shop is an independent bookshop founded in 2013 by Anthony Koh Waugh. He started writing freelance full-time in 2007 and decided to start a mobile “bookshop” selling books on writing. Booktique aspires to be a soulful space that not only inspires creativity but also humanity.
After the closure of their Citylink Mall bookstore in June 2017, they launched a lifestyle pop-up store, Chio Books. Although the pop-up has ended in March 2021, Anthony still runs pop-up book fairs.

BUBBLY BOOKS
Bubbly Books is a boutique publisher specialising in children's literature, established in 2011. They create engaging Asia-based content to entertain and enrich kids. Bubbly Books hopes that the books by their authors will instil a love for reading at an early age and add to the literary scene.

CLOSETFUL OF BOOKS
Set up in 2013 by owners Denise Tan and Kelvin Ng, Closetful of Books is a roving local children’s bookstore that reaches out to children in their school canteens.

NUS Press publishes books on Asia-related social science and humanities, with emphasis on Singapore, Southeast Asia, and East Asia. NUS Press also publishes academic books and journals, as well as high-quality general non-fiction. Books and memoirs meant mostly for a general audience and to be sold in bookshops are published under their Ridge Books imprint. They publish some 25 books a year.
