Synopsis
Join poet, translator, teacher, and performer Thomas Hitoshi Pruiksma for a reading of his own poetry and translations from Tamil and from Spanish. Interspersing his reading with stories and reflections, he’ll guide listeners into an experience of lyric philosophy: clarity expressed in the music of words and silence. The reading will be followed by an open discussion and book signing.
