Farihan Bahron

Farihan Bahron ialah seorang penulis Singapura dan pengasas bersama syarikat penerbitan Unggun Creative. Beliau telah menerima pelbagai pengiktirafan, termasuk Anugerah Harapan pada tahun 2017, Hadiah Sastera Singapura pada tahun 2018, 2022 dan 2024, serta Anugerah Persuratan pada tahun 2020/2021 dan 2023. Karya kreatif beliau—merangkumi puisi, cerpen dan novel—telah meraih kejayaan berterusan dalam pertandingan sastera seperti Anugerah Pena Emas (2003, 2015) dan Mencari Kristal (2016). Pada tahun 2023, beliau telah diberi penghormatan menerusi Penghargaan Sastrawan Muda oleh MASTERA Indonesia (Majlis Sastera Asia Tenggara). Farihan memiliki Ijazah Sarjana Muda dalam Bahasa dan Sastera Melayu dari Universiti Sains Kemasyarakatan Singapura (2024) dan kini sedang melanjutkan pengajian peringkat Sarjana Sastera dalam Pengajian Melayu di Universiti Malaya.

Farihan Bahron is a Singaporean writer and co-founder of the publishing outfit Unggun Creative. He has received numerous accolades, including the Anugerah Harapan (Promising Award) in 2017, the Singapore Literature Prize in 2018, 2022, and 2024, and the Anugerah Persuratan (Malay Literary Award) in 2020/2021 and 2023. His creative works—spanning poetry, short stories, and novels—have consistently excelled in literary competitions such as the Golden Point Award (2003, 2015) and Mencari Kristal (2016). In 2023, he was honoured with the Penghargaan Sastrawan Muda (Young Laureate Appreciation) by MASTERA Indonesia (Southeast Asian Literary Council). Farihan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Malay Language and Literature from the Singapore University of Social Sciences (2024) and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Malay Studies at Universiti Malaya.
