Little Sing Lit World: Stories for Young Readers (AEP0420528)

Invite local authors to your centre for an interactive meet-the-author session designed to ignite a love for reading among young audiences. Through storytelling and engaging activities—such as Q&As, discussions, games, and role-playing—children will explore a variety of themes.

We can recommend suitable titles that cover topics and themes such as occupations, school, hawker food culture, places in Singapore, kindness and more! Let us know what themes you are interested in, and we wil be happy to assist you in selecting the perfect stories for your preschoolers.

ABOUT FACILITATOR(S)

Ames Chen

Ames is the author of The Invisible People series. The series tells the real-life stories told through the lenses of children protagonists, exploring the unseen daily lives of bus drivers, construction workers, and more. The session will include a story-telling of a chosen book within the series, followed by an interactive session of role-play.

Norlin Samat

Join author Norlin Samat as she explores our rich local heritage, culture and way of life! Norlin will read from her beloved series, Ally’s Adventures, she will captivate the hearts and minds of young learners while they learn to appreciate the richness of our lives in Singapore in a playful and enjoyable manner.
