Programme 1:  Self-Care through Nature and Words

Format: Drop-in

Class size: Solo or in groups


Synopsis:

Pause and reconnect with yourselves through nature and mindful reflection! Led by mental health advocate Mahita Vas, participants will engage in guided journaling prompts focused on self-care, gratitude, and personal growth, while simultaneously learning the basics of succulent care. Discover how plant care offers a tangible reminder of self-nurturing as you embark on this enriching journey of self-discovery through creative self-expression.

Bonus:

Participants will bring a succulent and a small notebook to kickstart their journaling journey.

Programme 2: Seeds of Well-being: Terrariums, Creativity, and Self-Care

Format: Workshop
Duration:
 3 hours
Class size: Up to 30 participants in small groups


Synopsis:

This immersive and interactive three-hour workshop encourages participants to unwind from a busy day at the workplace through guided journaling, creative writing exercises, artful creation with nature, and group sharing and reflection.

Led by experienced facilitator Mahita Vas, the workshop aims to develop participants' understanding of writing as therapy and how to write about mental health. Mahita will introduce participants to the psychological benefits of writing and sharing, and provide tips on how to start writing for mental well-being and encourage regular writing practices.

The workshop will culminate in participants creating their own terrarium, a tangible symbol of their growth and self-nurturing journey.

Bonus:

Participants will bring back a journaling kit inclusive of writing notes with useful tips and creative prompts to start a journaling habit. The solo or group made terrarium serves as a keepsake and reminder to practice self-care through plant-care.
