ஒந்தி (டிராகன் பல்லி) என்பது எட்டு சிறுகதைகளின் தொகுப்பாகும். இந்த தனித்துவமான சிங்கப்பூர் கதைகள் உள்ளூர் தமிழ் சமூகத்தின் வாழ்க்கை மற்றும் விருப்பங்களைப் பற்றிய விவரங்களை ஆராய்ந்து, தன்மை தரங்கள், நெறிமுறை சங்கடங்கள் மற்றும் மாறுபட்ட சமூக சக்திகளை கவனமாக பரிசீலிக்கின்றன. நல்லொழுக்கம், விலங்குகளின் உள்ளுணர்வு, ஆசை, அன்பு, மரணம் மற்றும் பிற மனித நோக்கங்களின் எல்லைகளில் பயணிப்பதன் மூலம் சிங்கப்பூரில் வாழ்க்கையின் வரம்புகள், நுணுக்கங்கள் மற்றும் தெளிவற்ற தன்மைகளை இந்த கதைகள் உயிர்ப்பிக்கின்றன. ஒரு ஒந்தி வானிலை தாங்க அதன் நிறத்தை மாற்றுவது போல, இந்த படைப்புகள் மொழி மற்றும் பாணி இரண்டிலும் பல்திறமையைக் காட்டுகின்றன.
Gecko
Ondhi (Dragon Lizard) is a collection of eight short fiction pieces. These uniquely Singaporean stories probe into the lives of the local Tamil community and offer considerations of character gradations and discordant societal forces. The stories bring to life the limits and obscurities of life in Singapore by travelling along the boundaries of virtue, desire, love, and other human motives. Like a dragon lizard changing its colour to withstand the weather, these works display versatility in both language and style.
