Calling all writers and poets (again)! Be part of our growing community and receive the support you need, whether it be in perfecting your craft or just finding moral support.

To another evening of casual conversation about all things literary, whether it's about the writing life or just a shared passion for books. This is the perfect opportunity to meet and connect with fellow writers, poets, and book enthusiasts in a relaxed and supportive environment.

For September's session we have Kah Gay of Ethos Books, a local independent publisher based in Singapore. The 30-min sharing will include:

  • the manuscripts that Ethos Books publishes (poetry, fiction, non-fiction, creative non-fiction)
  • Ethos' ongoing and upcoming work with emerging writers
  • Ethos' focus on Southeast Asia stories and literary translation

Followed by a 30-min Q&A in the first part of the session.

The programme can be cancelled or postponed two weeks before the programme date if the minimum number of participants is not met. Participants will be fully refunded for workshops cancelled by us.

Participants who are unable to attend a workshop they have registered for are to inform us of the reason two weeks before the workshop date. They will be fully refunded in the event of extenuating and mitigating circumstances (E.g. illness, bereavement, accidents) . Those who inform us up to 5 working days before the workshop date will receive a 50% refund. Those who did not turn up at the workshop will not receive a refund.
