Workshop Outline:

 

(1) Polishing your manuscript: How do you know when you're ready to look for an agent? (Do you even need one?)

(2) How do you know you're ready to look for an agent?

(3) What makes an effective pitch?

 

Regardless of where they are in the writing process, participants should leave with a clear picture of the path to publication, as well as concrete tips for presenting their writing in the best possible light each step of the way. 

 

Conducted by two internationally-bestselling authors, Lauren Ho and Kirsten Chen, this talk aims to guide writers though the process of turning those word documents on their computers into books on bookstore shelves. 

 

This workshop takes place on:

REGISTRATION DETAILS

Minimum – Maximum Number of Participants: 1 – 30 pax

Registration is on a first-come-first-served basis and workshop fees must be paid before the workshop. If the minimum number of participants is not met for the class, the organisers will inform all participants about possible postponement and cancellation, two weeks before the workshop date.

 

Cancellation:

The workshop can be cancelled or postponed two weeks before the workshop date if the minimum number of participants is not met. Participants will be fully refunded for workshops cancelled by us.

Participants who are unable to attend a workshop they have registered for are to inform us of the reason two weeks before the workshop date. They will be fully refunded in the event of extenuating and mitigating circumstances (E.g. illness, bereavement, accidents) . Those who inform us up to 5 working days before the workshop date will receive a 50% refund. Those who did not turn up at the workshop will not receive a refund.

Upon registration, you are deemed to have read and understood the cancellation and withdrawal policy and accept the terms contained therein.
