Julie Ee
Julie Ee is a 32-year-old mother of two – a girl and a boy aged four and two respectively. Born and bred in Singapore, Julie has lived in three cities – Frankfurt, London and currently Sydney for the past five years because of her husband’s work. Having had the privilege of interacting with children of different nationalities, Julie had a glimpse into their relationship with stories and books. After leaving Singapore, Julie continued to write freelance but finally gave up, preferring to instead to make up stories for her little darlings who have an insatiable appetite for stories. Her first book That Little Girl is one of the 14 books under the First-Time Writers & Illustrators Publishing Initiative Jointly organised by the National Book Development Council of Singapore and the Media Development Authority.
