An Advisory Board was established in 2001 to help steer the Council towards its new vision of developing Singapore into a vibrant Asian hub for publishing and the literary arts. Members were appointed for a two-year term. Professor Tommy Koh, the then Director of the Institute of Policy Studies, served as Chairman of the Board.
